The girl demonstrates her harmonica form. There were a few times where she actually sounded like she could play, for real. I mean, check out the picture -- that's classic form, right there. Posted by Picasa

(Pretend it's James Brown singing...)
"Papa needs a brand new... back! (ding-a-ling-a-ling-a-ling-a-ling-a-ling-a-ling-a-ling... DAH!)"

(Okay, that comment may not have made much sense to you, but it's more creative than me just saying something involving the word 'horsey.') Posted by Picasa

Abby and Madelyn built this. On their own. No, seriously. It tasted good, too. Posted by Picasa

The three little ones had a bath. Remember when you took up that little space in the tub? Nah, me neither. Posted by Picasa

Post-Christmas Visit To the Tubbses

After leaving Grandma and Grandpa's house, we traveled to scenic Leesport, PA to visit Papa, Kate, Madelyn and Elijah. Abby and Madelyn spent the first 10 minutes hugging and dancing about the living room. They really do like each other a whole lot.

Abby also took a trip to the state park by Seneca Lake. She loves the playground there. Posted by Picasa

Abby and daddy worked on, and completed, a 2' x 3', 48-piece puzzle of the solar system. We were very pleased with the results. Posted by Picasa

The serious face was out in full force on Christmas morning. No time to waste. Work to be done. Get 'em all open, ASAP. Posted by Picasa

Yep... got my pretty dress... got my comfy chair... it's Christmastime... life is good. Posted by Picasa

Christmas 2005 in Geneva

We spent Christmas this year with Grandma and Grandpa in central New York. Oddly, it was not a white Christmas; in fact, most of the time it just rained. But, we all still had a really good, restful time -- Abby had lots of fun sitting with Grandpa and dancing with Grandma. Chris and Kim got out on a few movie dates, and we ate really, really well. Egg nog... canoles... Cam's pizza... mmm....

I've never seen a live buffalo before this trip. They're gi-normous. Posted by Picasa

Thanksgiving In Salisbury

This Thanksgiving, we traveled to Salisbury, Maryland to spend the holiday with Grammy and Grandpop. There was a lot of sleeping, a lot of bridge playing, and a heck of a lot of pumpkin cheesecake. Plus a fireplace. And a trip to the zoo. God is good. :)

We Found One!

Kim and I, as you know, are big J.R.R. Tolkien fans. So, when we saw this hobbit for sale recently, we couldn't resist. She looks a lot like Abby, too, so we don't even have to change any of the pictures! Posted by Picasa

On The National Mall

Kim and Abby spent the day with Aunt Susie and the Randolphs a few weeks ago. There were ducks, so Abby was happy.

Trip to St. Michael's Maritime Museum

This Saturday, we visited St. Michael's to see Grammy and Grandpop, Uncle Bob and Aunt Pat, and Mark and Emily Randolph. We also met Bob and Pat's grandson, John Cole. A good time was had by all, along with lots of oysters.
