Thanksgiving, 2008

The Erwins had a lovely, fun Thanksgiving, with Grandma and Grandpa Erwin visiting for a whole week! It was a standard Thanksgiving - turkey, stuffing, sweet potato casserole, and a visit to the emergency room for Sean (bad split lip, this year). The kids really loved spending time with their Grandma and Grandpa; Abby got to see a puppet version of 'the Nutcracker,' and she got taken to lunch. And, Seanie got read to A LOT, so he was happy. It was a really enjoyable week!

Sean was his normal self, being rather shy and cautious at first - but, he warmed up pretty quick when he realized Grandma brought presents with her, and that she likes to read to him. :)

We set up our Christmas tree right after Thanksgiving - it was great having Grandpa and Grandma there to help us decorate!

"And here's how you play 'Danny Boy,' Abby."

"What's that song about, Grandpa?"

"It's a good, traditional Irish song - it's about someone dying."

Recently, we tripped up to D.C. to the Natural History museum with the kiddies. It's the favorite museum for both.

It's this kind of thing they like best about the Natural History museum. Daddy agrees.
