And there it is.

This has become a common Saturday morning scene -- reading the funny pages after a pancake breakfast. So glad we subscribed to the weekend Washington Post. It has coupons, too!

I wanted to take a nice picture of Sean, age 2.75, for all to see. I got this one first, which came out nicely...

... and this one, well, he's just cheesin'.

Visit To Ocean City, Maryland

Last week, we visited Grammy and Grandpop on the eastern shore of Maryland. While it was generally a rainy trip, God was kind enough to give us a nice morning on Wednesday, so we (along with Grandpop) decided to give the beach a go. And, it turned out to be a really nice day!

Mommy thinks she's funny. Ha ha, mommy.

There was a lot of little boy running. Don't know why -- just running, running, all the time running.

AIIGGGHHH! MOMMY, WATCH OUT FOR THE GIANT HUNGRY SEAN! HE'LL DEVOUR YOU!

Oh, wait. No. He's just closer to the camera than mommy. Sorry for the alarm, everyone.

Sean was very excited about seeing his own footprints.

We got two pics of the kiddos right before leaving -- there's the nice one...

... and the weird/angry one.

Abby's Kindegarten Graduation Day!

Our baby girl experienced her fist commencement ceremony recently. She is now on to the wide world of 1st grade. We had a great year watching her grow, especially in her ability to read -- she's a whiz! And, Abby had Mrs. Brown, a really wonderful teacher. Overall, it was a great year!

The reception area, prior to the day's events. Those are all cupcakes. Elaborate, no?

Abby's assigned role for the graduation day skit was "dress shop owner." They had to make it out of a white paper bag with a hole cut out to put her head through. Here's what Abby and Kim came up with...

Sometimes she has the goofiest smile. But, we love it.

We started getting the weekend Washington Post recently. The kids enjoy reading the comics, usually after getting dressed and having breakfast...

... though for Sean, clothing-optional reading is often the way to go.

Ice cream cone break! Seanie dove right in...

...while Abby's more the fan of the posed shot.
