Visit to Grandma and Grandpa's House!

We just took our annual late summer trip up to Geneva, NY, to visit Grandma and Grandpa. It rained a little more than usual, but we still enjoyed spending time with them, and getting to do the other fun stuff we usually enjoy, as well as a family reunion. Nate especially was gad to get to know his grandparents better. And, on the way up, we visited our friends the Tubbses, whom we hadn't seen in three years. What a fun trip!

Visits to Grandma and Grandpa's house always involves lots of morning play time for the kids, while us grownups wake up. Nate sometimes gets impatient for breakfast.

This was Nate's first trip to the Geneva spray park. Here's a series from that visit.

At the Reunion, there was lots and lots and lots of kid swimming (pictured here).

Here's a nice family photo of the Augustine family (my mom's side) at this year's family reunion. Not as many folks as in previous years, but we still had fun. Here's hoping for a bigger turnout in two years!

Nate had a great time at the Reunion. Italian-colored balloons are always a good time.

Dan's really sweet with the kids. Here, he reads a DC Comics pop-up book to Sean and Elijah.

We enjoyed a hearty breakfast of strawberry shredded wheat before hitting the road to Grandma and Grandpa's.
