Trip to Ocean City!

In mid-August, we took a three-day trip to the Eastern Shore of Maryland, spending two days at the beach at Ocean City, and staying overnight with Grammy and Grandpop while there. Hurray for summer!

We had a fantastic time at Ocean City -- two whole beach days, beatuful weather, a cool canopy that kept us shady... loverly!

At the beach, there are always holes to be dug and water to be transported into them.

We found a ton of cool shells on the beach. Here's Abby modeling one.

Visit to Grandma and Grandpa's House!

We just took our annual late summer trip up to Geneva, NY, to visit Grandma and Grandpa. It rained a little more than usual, but we still enjoyed spending time with them, and getting to do the other fun stuff we usually enjoy, as well as a family reunion. Nate especially was gad to get to know his grandparents better. And, on the way up, we visited our friends the Tubbses, whom we hadn't seen in three years. What a fun trip!

Visits to Grandma and Grandpa's house always involves lots of morning play time for the kids, while us grownups wake up. Nate sometimes gets impatient for breakfast.
