Homeschool Co-op Trip To The Lake!

A few weeks ago, Abby, Sean, Nate and Mommy went on a really cool homeschool co-op trip to a local park, which had a lake, which enabled Mr. MacGregor, a local pastor and former marine biologist, to provide the kids with an awesome learning experience in the field. Homeschooling is fun!

There was lots of cool stuff to climb on, on the beach, and lots of other kids to climb on it with.

The kids got to drag a huge net, to catch fish.

Abby took careful notes. She's a good little student.

Mr. MacGregor did a great job leading the field trip.

Little fishies abounded.

"What do you think, Sean?"

"I think this pencil tastes like lake."

Surprise Ice Cream Run!

Sometimes, we get the kids into their jammies, let them go to bed... then wake them up for a surprise ice cream run! This time, we went to a Baskin Robbins.

It looked like this.

Daddy, are you taking my picture AGAIN?

Sometimes I have ice cream. That's good. But then it's gone. That's not good.

Is life always a mixed bag like this?

Sean has now begun to add bodies to his drawings of people. We're very glad for the little drawn people.

Just some Seanie cuteness.

And.... DUMP.

Sometimes, they just loll on the floor.

Abby sewed Huggy (her bear) a new nightie.

Just some extra Abby adorableness.

As part of homeschooling, we got Abby a subscription to "Answers" magazine. It was about 100 pages. She sat down and read it. It's for adults.

I think she's bright.

And now, for a typical reading of a "boo" by Mommy to Natey. He really loves his boos.

One can't help but feel Mommy anjoyed this process as much as, if not more than, Nate himself. Mommy loves her some babies.
