Mommy and Abby spent the morning/early afternoon with Mrs. Little and Hannah at Hains Point, on the Potomac. They even got to climb on that huge, famous, revolting sculpture called "The Awakening." A good time was had by all.

The girl demonstrates her harmonica form. There were a few times where she actually sounded like she could play, for real. I mean, check out the picture -- that's classic form, right there.
(Pretend it's James Brown singing...) "Papa needs a brand new... back! (ding-a-ling-a-ling-a-ling-a-ling-a-ling-a-ling-a-ling... DAH!)"
(Okay, that comment may not have made much sense to you, but it's more creative than me just saying something involving the word 'horsey.')
Abby and Madelyn built this. On their own. No, seriously. It tasted good, too.
The three little ones had a bath. Remember when you took up that little space in the tub? Nah, me neither.
Madelyn set out a fine tea on Wednesday afternoon.
After leaving Grandma and Grandpa's house, we traveled to scenic Leesport, PA to visit Papa, Kate, Madelyn and Elijah. Abby and Madelyn spent the first 10 minutes hugging and dancing about the living room. They really do like each other a whole lot.
Abby also took a trip to the state park by Seneca Lake. She loves the playground there.
Abby and daddy worked on, and completed, a 2' x 3', 48-piece puzzle of the solar system. We were very pleased with the results.
The serious face was out in full force on Christmas morning. No time to waste. Work to be done. Get 'em all open, ASAP.
Yep... got my pretty dress... got my comfy chair... it's Christmastime... life is good.
The Erwin girls, dressed up and looking beautiful.
I am a rebellious, self-centered sinner who has been rescued from the coming wrath of a holy God solely by His grace, in the person of Jesus Christ. I stand continuously puzzled, amazed, and grateful that He chose to give Himself up to death on the cross for me, that my sins might be forgiven, that I might be adopted as God's son, and that there might be peace between me and my Maker.
