We love our swing... 

We love our swing, now. We're figuring out how to work the lights and music. 

Aunt Susie stopped by to meet Sean last week. He's a good boy. Though he looks like he has gas, here. 

Abby and Daddy Day Out!

With mommy and Sean away, daddy and Abby decided to make an adventure of our Saturday. We took the subway up to the National Zoo, had McDonald's for lunch, and then went to Cosca Park to play for awhile. Abby had a great time (which of course was the goal), and daddy got to take loads of pictures. Huzzah!

Abby made this "dragon" out of sand, all by herself. That's what she said. And, she wouldn't let me look at it at all until she was finished. :) 

The weather was beautiful -- 75 degrees. But, the foliage is still early November. Very pretty. 

We took the Metro to the zoo -- Abby enjoyed looking out the window, sitting on the floor, etc.

In Abby's K4 class, they had a fairy tale dress-up day -- she was the cat who chased the mouse under the princess's throne. (Nope, me either -- still, really cute). 

This is Abby's favorite activity -- if anyone wants to buy her any toys, maybe instead you get her some dish soap and a rag. Cheaper, and saves money on the dishwasher. 

Yes, Sean is actually smiling already, and yes, that's his typical smile. Crooked Jack. 

Abby got Sleeping Beauty gear (dress, wig, and slippers) for her birthday. The wig looks totally natural, no? 

Abby and Madelyn got together this past weekend. Here, they pause, pensive. Most of the rest of the time they ran around screaming. 

Sean and Abby met Ms. Dorschel (a.k.a. Ms. Dorsch) last week. 

Grandma and Grandpa were here last weekend, too, to meet Sean. He seems to like them. 

Abby had her 4th birthday last Saturday -- she got ice cream cake! Huzzah!

Our little monkey. He's a cute monkey. 

Sometimes, it's cool to just hang with Benjamin. Not much in the way of conversation, but he can stare down a squirrel with the best of them.
