Finally, he just ran out of patience (and food) and decided to eat his mother. We miss her very much.

Much ice cream was devoured at Grandma and Grandpa's.

We celebrated my 34th birthday belatedly up in Geneva -- I got an ice cream cake, and Abby got a big bunch of happiness, it would seem.

While in Geneva, we visited Watkins Glen, known mostly for a NASCAR race, but named for an absolutely beautiful gorge with a series of waterfalls. Even though I grew up a half-hour from this place, I'd never been until this summer. I'm glad I went.

The museum had a display on river animals, like beavers. Seanie got to be a beaver. He's a cute beaver.

There was a climbing netty thingy. Mommy decided to join in. She looks a little crazy here. And that's fine.

We saw a pretty fun clown show while at the museum. Abby even got to be a stage hand!

Kim took Abby out for a 'girls day out' a few weeks ago -- they went up to the Baltimore Aquarium, had a nice lunch at Phillips'...

... and then later, they went out into the Inner Harbor for a paddle boat ride.

We took the kids to their first round of miniature golf a few weeks ago. Mostly, they weren't into the competetive aspect of the game -- the scenery was nice, there was a pond and a bunny rabbit that Abby chased...

... but I got to give a few pointers.
