Camping Trip to Assateague National Park

The pictures above are from yesterday's camping trip (including overnight) at Assateague National Park in southern Maryland. The weather was gorgeous, the water was wonderful, and Abby (with some cajoling) played in the ocean for the first time! As you can see, Assateague is known for the wild ponies that make their home there. As you can also see, they (and the other wildlife) are not shy about coming right up to you. A recommended trip -- anyone want to go with us next summer?
