Visit to George Washington's Birthplace

Not too long before Thanksgiving, we decided to hop in the car and drive down to Virginia, to check out GW's birthplace. It's a really interesting place to visit -- the grounds are more or less as they were in his time, and though the original mansion no longer exists, they do have a re-creation you can tour. All that, plus walking trails and wildlife and beautiful scenery -- and it's free!
